CAIRO: Tens of demonstrators from the Yemeni and Syrian communities in Egypt performed the Eid al-Adha prayers in Tahrir Square in Cairo this morning. The four-day Islamic feast began today. They said that Eid al-Adha is for all Muslims and a big celebration will be held after liberating and unifying all Arab states. They added that they will not dissolve their strikes before their countries are liberated from their dictators. Tens of Syrians and Yemenis performed the prayers behind Mazhar Shahine, a preacher of the revolution. They raised Syrian flags and organized a march in Tahrir, chanting, "Down with Bashar al-Assad" and "Egypt and Syria are united in one hand." Arabic here.
