CAIRO: Some Egyptian political powers have called to perform the Eid al-Adha prayer that marks the start of the four-day Islamic feast in Tahrir Square. The Public Coalition for the January 25 Revolution, Arab Spring Power, and the Revolutionary Front, among others, have called to hold the prayer in the square that was the epicenter of Egypt's January uprising. The call emphasizes the unity of Arabs and Egyptians to discard their differences and disputes and face those who incite violence. The call also aims to support Syrian and Yemeni protesters who have begun a sit-in outside the Arab League headquarters, located at the edge of Tahrir Square.
