"We did not complete the course of the Egyptian January 25 Revolution presently but the political ‘bacteria' must be eliminated. The slogan in the Zewaili City of Science and Research is "Egypt can.” The trilogy of the road map is good governance, scientific renaissance and Egypt's society," Nobel Prize winner Ahmed Zewail said.
Deputy Minister of Interior Saad Zaghloul said the ministry is locked in a fierce war against thugs and criminals, he added, "We are chasing 5.6 million outlaws."
Egyptian Minister of Tourism Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour said tourism rates declined in Egypt by 80 percent after the January 25 Revolution.
Youm7:
The newspaper published the complete speech of Egyptian Nobel Prize winner Ahmed Zewail to the Egyptian nation. Zewail said Egyptians must unify for the success of the upcoming parliamentary elections and there are no reason to be afraid of the Muslim Brotherhood or any other political sect.
He also said Egypt should dream of a new future in fields of education, culture and production and Egyptian Universities must be among the best 10 universities worldwide.
Zewail assured that history will deal with those who put their intesrests above the nation's interest.
Bahraini opposition assured Youm7 that Arabism of Bahrain is a red line that will never be crossed and the assistance of the Iranian fleet is a rumor.
“We want to promote human rights, citizenship, non-discrimination and an actual constitution,” a Bahraini opposition Abdullah Ginahy said.
Al-Ahram:
The survivors of ferry Bella's fire said they said their farewells to their children as they prepared to die but they survived after almost drowning in the lifeboats.
“We lost our savings and we await for the state's compensation so we can proceed with our lives,” they added.
They survived the ferry and the fire after a tough time, since the fire was behind them and drowning ahead of them, death surrounding them from all sides. They said their prayers and waited for death but God's divinity saved them, they believe.
In other news, political powers stated three conditions after a meeting held on Friday November 4 to adopt the Al-Selmy document, where radical amendments occurred for standards to choose members of the constituent assembly and abolish the military council's right to form a replace constituent.
Al-Masry Al-Youm:
Deputy Minister of Interior Saad Zaghloul and the head of the sentences' execution department said that the ministry is pursuing 5.6 million outlaws in Egypt.
Zaghloul said last February was the month with the least records of police arrest, since there were no laws then.
He also said the department changed its means after the Egyptian January 25 Revolution and added the ministry applied effective campaigns and achieved positive results.
Zaghloul said they will eliminate the mistake of the similarity of names that makes the ministry sometimes arrest innocent people.
Al-Akhbar:
Al-Akhbar had an interview with the Minister of Tourism Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour. He said tourism rates declined by 80 percent after the Egyptian January 25 Revolution.
He also said the long transitional period might lead into catastrophe. He said the state should not be religious nor civil but national to abort sectarian strife.
The Maspiro clashes revealed the hidden causes and not all that existed before the January 25 Eevolution was corrupt, Nour said. "Islamic trends will not have the majority in the parliament and Al-Wafd Party will acquire 60 of the parliament seats," he said.
Egyptian presidential candidate al-Baradei called upon youth to resurrect the revolution during the upcoming parliamentary elections by helping the elderly with the voting process.
Al-Shorouq:
Al-Shorouq had an interview with Alaa Abdul Moneim who said the next parliament will not be able to take crucial decisions.
Abdul Moneim said issuing the law of isolation after the end of the candidacy period is a scam and the religious trends will drag Egypt into a catastrophe.
“I do not expect the success of any of the veiled women during the upcoming elections. Even though they have all the freedom to put on the veil, they should not be in the parliament,” Abdul Moneim said.
