JERUSALEM: Israel is politically and militarily preparing to wage a war on Iran to paralyze Iranian nuclear factors as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel Minister of Defense Ehud Barak seek to get approval from the majority of the Israeli cabinet votes on launching big military operation against Iran. The majority of Israeli cabinet oppose attacking Iran after the Israeli Minister of Finance Yuval Steinitz jointed the opposing ministers, Israeli newspaper Haartez reported. In accordance with the International Atomic Energy Agency's report to be issued on November 8, the Cabinet will take a decisive decision about attacking Iran, the newspaper quoted top Israeli officials in the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Haartez expects the report will reveal new details about Iranian attempts of developing nuclear weapons, not for civilian purposes, and Iran may increase the quantity of enriched uranium. Talking publicly about the possible Israeli attack on Iran is a farce, and dangerous, said Minister of Intelligence and Atomic Energy Dan Meridor. Maarive newspaper also reported that Meridor was the first minister of the cabinet to talk about this matter openly.
