Governor of Aswan Mostafa el-Sayed praised the national role of the Orthodox Church in solving sectarian violence problems and standing firmly against any attempts of chaos and riot. He mentioned the Marinab incidents, where people tried to escalate the problem but the church was able to control the unusual rage. Both agreed Egypt is in a severe need for wise and intellectual leaders and the necessity for Egyptians to be aware of hidden plans against their safety. The governor assured the church's delegation the necessity of solidarity among Egyptians of various religious affiliations, political and tribal attempts to counter any danger or threat to Egypt's stability and safety. Mostafa el-Sayed expressed his grief and sorrow over the Maspiro clashes and offered condolences to all the victims and martyrs' families. Anba Hedra stressed the importance of Egyptians to seek getting over their troubles and to save the revolution and continue its success. He called upon youths to work and exert effort, especially at this time, and stressed there shouldn't be categorical demands and protests. He said sit-ins are important but only when it serves the entire country not only personal or a particular political party's demands.
