Adly undergoes surgery

Habib al-Adly, former Minister of the Interior, successfully completed surgery to remove cataracts at the Police Academy Hospital, a security source said Saturday.
After the operation was completed, Adly was transferred back to his cell in Tora prison
The same source added that Adly's attorney made a formal request to the Attorney General to have the operation the police hospital, after being turned down by a large number of public and private hospitals.
