The Egyptian Minister of Foreign Trade, Mahmud Eissa, said that the government is keen to stabilize the public sector's position by providing finances and confronting unemployment. Eissa said that government is aware of Egyptian labor returning from neighboring countries, and the closure of a group of Egyptian factories. On the sidelines of the Davos Economic Conference in Jordan, the minister said that the Egyptian government would support political and economical stability while confronting corruption. He also said that the Egyptian policy towards free market economy would not change. Eissa held a meeting with the Bulgarian Minister of Economy Traycho Traykov to enhance commerce between the two countries and increase Bulgarian investment in Egypt. Eissa said the government would support small and medium companies, as they have a great role in development, but at the same time will be concerned with big projects requiring the intensive labor.
