Al-Azhar's first cultural season launches: Grand Mufti

CAIRO: Egyptian Grand Mufti of Al-Azhar Ahmed al-Tayeb today announced the Sheikhdom's first cultural season for 2011-2012. The announcement included references to both intellectual and cultural events for Al-Azhar.
Abdullah bin Beih, the head of the Renovation and Rationalization Center and deputy chairman of the International Union for Muslim Scholars will deliver a speech titled, “Talks of Renovation … Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence) Is An Example.”
This talk will be held on October 22, the opening session, at the Al-Azhar Conference Center.
