General Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) Mohamed Badei pointed out Tahrir Square was place for all Muslims and Christians to unite in the Egyptian January 25 Revolution. “Your enemy is known, he is the devil trying to drive a wedge between you Muslim and Christians, to ruin the unity between you in Tahrir Square.” He ensured Egyptians, Muslims and Christians alike, became a union and should aim to protect Egypt. Badei stressed the next phase for Egypt is the Egyptian parliamentary elections. He made this statement during his meeting with 15 Muslims and Christians Youths of Citizens for the Good Association at the MB headquarters on October 16. He said the Christians youths should participate in the elections to contribute in the cleansing, changing and construction movements in Egypt. He added the ten recommendations the MB makes are in the Quran, Torah and Bible, all saying Muslims and Christians should live in Egypt and trust one another. National Committees said during the January 25 Revolution that Muslims and Christians coordinated with each other to face the injustice and corruption of the former regime. Badei called upon Egyptian youths to confront remnants of the former regime, to protect Egypt, to delay problems and to seek reunification. “I welcomed Rami Lakah's invitation to meet with some of the Church's youths,” he said. He also added the Turkish President Abdallah Gul and Turkish Prime Minister Ragab Tayeb Erdogan assured Egypt is able to inspire a true renaissance. The youths promised Badei to communicate with MB youths and participate in the World Peace Day on October 29.
