Egyptian Minister of Manpower Ahmed al-Boraei met with representative of Saudi Arabian companies that bring Egyptian labor to Saudi Arabia. He emphasized Saudi Arabia find Egyptian labor whether it's seasonal or sustainable. Al-Boraie also said the Egyptian labor also finds work in Saudi Arabia indispensible since Egyptians are religiously and spiritually connected to Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabian parties understood Egypt insisting to supervise the contracts of pilgrimage season's labor, to make sure Egyptian work won't be exploited. "These procedures are taken to prevent the trade of visas Egypt's suffered in the past," Al-Boraei added. He said the ministry received all the passports of applicants and all procedures and interviews will be completed. He said the ministry won't receive any more applications during the present moment as the applicants' numbers exceed the amount agree upon. In other news, al-Boraei assured he will meet a delegation representing the Amiriya Company for spinning and weaving workers next Monday to oversee their conditions with the Ministers of Agriculture and Industry. Al-Boraei said a national conference will be held to promote the industry of spinning and weaving, which declined because of the former regime's corrupt policies. It was pushed outside of international and Arabian competition after it was previously taking the lead.
