The head of the Egyptian committee to release Egyptian prisoners in Israel, Mahmoud Saeed Lutfi, said the Israeli central court refused the public prosecution appeal against the court's verdict to release the three Egyptian children. He said the central court's verdict to release the three children will be activated and they will be transferred to Egypt through Awja crossing in the middle of Sinai. The call to for the imprisonment of the children was issued on September 28 and the trial session was scheduled for October 5 to oversee the appeal. It should be noted the three Egyptian children were arrested by an Israeli patrol on July 14; they were accused of infiltration into Israeli land but they claim they were only trying to sell tobacco to Israeli soldiers on the Egyptian-Israeli border.
