ISMAILIA, Egypt: General Manager of the Youth and Sport Institute in Ismailia Foad Abdel Baqy said the institute agreed to implement the Million Trees project across the country, in coordination with the directorate of youth, sport and local units in the governorate. The project aims to invest youths' powers for serving the environment and social participation. The project also urges loyalty to the places where youth live in and to benefit from working in the project, whose workers are paid 40 EGP daily (U.S. $6.7). The project includes 20 villages: Nafesha, Abu Atwa, Abu Balah, Tomson, El Tal el-Kabir, Kafr el-Sheikh, El Beghada, Abu Khaleefa, El Bahteeny, Shohadaa el-Oboor, El Marwa, Ebr el-Sayed, El Mahsama el-Kadeema, Abu Greesh, El Werwara, El Kantara Gharb, El Kantara Sharq, Serabyoum, Fanara. The project will begin on Thursday on the occasion of the victories of October 6.
