Public transport workers denied the testimonies of Egyptian Minister of Transport Ahmed el-Borai about ending their strike and returning back to work in the garages. One of workers, Sayed Gomaa, said the strike is ongoing in all authority's garages and he declared their open protest until they achieve their demands. He said whoever wants to negotiate should do it with the workers themselves and not with the syndicates. Member of the independent syndicate for public transport workers, al-Sayed Ali, said some followers of syndicate members, who used a more bullying policy, attacked him for not ending the protest.
