The secretariat of the Freedom and Justice Party, Mohamed al-Beltagy, pointed out they will give Egypt's ruling military council a chance until Sunday to respond to the revolutionary forces' demands. “Egypt's ruling military council didn't create the Egyptian January 25 Revolution, it only protected it during a certain phase. This allowed the council to be a part of it and commit to respond to the revolutionary demands,” al-Beltagy said. “We will confront Egypt's ruling military council if it doesn't commit to its promises,” al-Beltagy said during a phone call to ‘Akher Kalam' TV program, presented by broadcaster Yosri Fouda on ON TV channel. We refused the individual list of the election list because it allows remnants of the former regime a chance to enter the parliament, according to al-Beltagy. He stressed the most important outcome of the political forces' meeting is the release of the Law of Perfidy, the amendment of elections law, canceling the Emergency Law and setting a schedule to deliver power to a voted civilian authority.
