CAIRO: Transactions from Egyptian investors comprised 67.4 percent of total transactions while foreign investor transactions equaled 24.4 percent of total transactions in the Egyptian borse last week. Foreign investor transactions resulted in a net purchase of 14.08 million EGP (U.S. $2.4 million) last week. Arab transactions resulted in a net gain of 40.8 million EGP (U.S. $6.8 million). Annual foreign transactions have produced a total of 3.6 billion EGP (U.S. $602.7 million) and year-to-date Arab transactions totaled 22.02 million EGP (U.S. $3.7 million). Institutional trading comprised 42 percent of total stock market transactions while individual transactions comprised 59 percent.
