CAIRO: A new media campaign titled, ‘Toward a new Social Contract' has been launched to fight poverty, injustice and illiteracy in Egypt. The project was launched by the Egyptian Social Contract Center, which is affiliated with the Information and Decision Support Center of the Egyptian Cabinet. In Egypt's current critical situation, Egyptians should express their opinions and discuss the mechanisms that protect their rights and duties. They should also discuss the laws that govern relations between citizens and the state, said Sahar al-Taweel, director of the Social Contract Center. She added that the constitution is considered the final representation of the new social contract. She said the center is keen to open new fields before the all people to exchabge experience among them to achieving their goals. The campaign amis to get rid of poverty, unjustice, and illitracy. It also called on the Egyptian groups to agree on one formula that guarantees their rights, and to particiapte in expressing opinions and not only follow up the orders.
