Military general removed from Ministry of Transportation

CAIRO: Maj. Gen. Tawfik Abu Gendeya has been excluded from the Ministry of Transportation by Minister Zein el-Abdein.
Gendeya held the second-highest ministry post and also held the positions of the minister's advisor and the Chairman of the Central Department to supervise the minister's office.
The decision to remove Gendeya included appointing Essam el-Fekky as general secretariat of the cabinet.
