The North Cairo Criminal Court and presiding Judge Ahmed Fahmy today heard testimony from Egyptian Interior Minister Gen. Mansour el-Issawy in the case against ousted Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, his two sons Gamal and Alaa, former Interior Minister Habib al-Adly and his six security chiefs. The Minister fielded questions from the public prosecutor as well as from attorneys representing the defendants. “The publication of witness statements on the Facebook page created by Mubarak supporters is a flagrant violation of the law,” said attorney Karim Kamal. Legal Adviser to the General Committee for the Defense of Victims Rights Mohamed Kadry said he will file a case against the administrators of the social media page.
