The Naser Company for Petroleum has prepared a plan to increase its investment in the current fiscal year by 34.3 million EGP (U.S. $5.76 million), said Head of Naser Company Mohamed Saad Ibrahim. The company will also implement renewal programs for company machines, resume the project of facilities receiving and continue the storing and shipping of jet fuel in the Ferran Valley, he added. “Exported petroleum products, like 1.5 million tons of NAFATA and 12,700 tons of asphalt, cost U.S. $1.5 billion,” said Ibrahim. “The Naser Company exported 1.3 million tons of naphtha, 895,000 tons of distillers, 1.2 million tons of fuel oil, 67,000 tons of heavy diesel, 360,000 tons of asphalt and 3,000 tons of fuel,” he added. Naser's profits increased by 27 million EGP (U.S. $4.5 million), he said.
