The Egyptian Minister of Electricity, Hassan Younis, signed a memo understanding the need to achieve cooperation with the Turkey in the field of electricity. Younis clarified the measure aims to support cooperation between both countries in the electrical networks and training. He added the protocol signed today would allow exchange of experience and information in operating and maintaining systems of production, transferring and distributing electricity. The minister added the talks with Turkey included how to attract Turkish investments to establish projects to produce electricity in Egypt, especially using wind energy to produce clean electricity. Younis added they agreed with Turkey to form committees including experts from both countries to follow up on activities of cooperation between them. It is important to mention Younis was one of the delegations that received the Turkish Prime Minister, Ragab Tayeb Erdogan, during his visit to Egypt with a delegation of businessmen.
