Egyptian Minister of Local Development Mohamed Ateya received two memorandums about the national project for eco-villages, reported Reda Hagag, the engineering adviser of the Local Development Ministry. “The first memorandum includes a future plan to resolve the Egyptian youth problem,” said Hagag. “The other memorandum included a plan for national development.” “Next week will be the first meeting to execute the protocol signed between the Local Development Ministry and the Housing Ministry,” Hagag told Youm7. The protocol is about cooperating to establish environmental villages designed to stimulate housing and job opportunities for youth. Hagag also criticized Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf's approval of the Egypt plan of 2052 and Cairo plan of 2052 laid out by the Egyptian Housing Ministry.
