The Egyptian stock market rose Thursday, with all three major indexes closing in the black. The EGX 30 closed at 4755 points, up 0.59 percent, the EGX 70 closed up 0.7 percent, and the EGX 100 closed at 613.3 after gaining 0.15 percent on the day. Foreign and Arab investors mostly purchased stocks, but Egyptian transactions tended to result in sales, which mitigated gains. Companies that gained today include Citadel by 3.2 percent, Said General Contracting by 1.4 percent, Amer Group by 0.75 percent, Talaat Mostafa by 1.9 percent, Pioneer by 1.6 percent, Ezz Steel by 1.1 percent, SODEC by 0.64 percent, and EFG Hermes by 0.53 percent.
