Dr Mohamed Afifi, Professor of Modern History at Cairo University, will deliver a seminar at the Saad Zaghloul Cultural Center entitled “Voices of Cairo in the Twentieth Century.” The seminar is a response to the “Ghost City” exhibit held in August by the Swiss Cultural Foundation, which cooperated with Cairo University to organize the seminar. At that exhibit, four Egyptians and two Swiss artists showcased their work as part of the foundation's cultural memory project.
