An official military source said the military forces is very close to end terrorism in Sinai, three weeks after it began. The source said the entire area was explored by military aircrafts, 1,000 soldiers and elements of Egyptian commandos in cooperation with Bedouins. The source said security operations will be intensified after the end of the campaign by spreading check points on entrances and exits of Sinai, Ismailia and Suez. The waterway of Suez Canal will be secured and the existence of the military forces and civil police in these areas will be intensified, the source added. More than 120 were arrested on charges of belonging to extremist Islamic groups and they are being interrogated.
