The Spanish Cabinet today decided to approve the extradition of son and daughter of legally embattled Egyptian businessman Hussein Salem to Egyptian security authorities, reported Spanish La Voz Libre. Spanish Minister of Justice Francisco Caamano today suggested that Khaled and Magda Salem be extradited during the Cabinet meeting. The decision to extradite the two comes in response to receiving an arrest warrant from the Egyptian embassy in Spain on July 14, 2011, reported the Spanish news outlet. Khaled and Magda Hussein are charged with money laundering in collusion with former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, their father Hussein Salem and the former Egyptian regime. Salem reportedly sent funds to his children in UAE, Swiss, Spanish and American accounts. Khaled and Magda Hussein were arrested in Madrid on July 18 and July 13, respectively, where they were held on a five million Euro bail.
