The Egyptian cabinet held their 25th meeting Sunday, headed by Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf. For the first time, the governors of the North and South Sinai governorates attended the meeting. The governor of the Egyptian Central Bank governor and Head of Egyptian Intelligence also were present. The cabinet will discuss many projects and laws such as carrying over electoral regions for the Shura Council, establishing a food safety organization, and reforming Central Bank regulations. The cabinet will also discuss a mechanism to elect university leaders.
