The different political powers in Egypt protested yesterday outside the Syrian embassy in Cairo and demanded to dismiss the Syrian ambassador in Cairo Youssef Ahmed and to withdraw the Egyptian ambassador in Damascus in response to the genocide taken place against the unarmed Syrian people.
The protest included different Egyptian political powers, Muslim Brother-hood group, January 25 revolution's different coalitions and the Syrian community in Egypt.
Yesterday's protest was the biggest and the most organized since the beginning of the holy month Ramadan, where persons from the Syrian community built a stage outside the Syrian embassy. The protest also witnessed an intensive security existence.
The Egyptian and Syrian protesters demanded to dismiss the Syrian ambassador and the Syrian diplomatic mission in Cairo as it was alleged that they work for the Syrian intelligence, and they also crossed all the lines of the diplomatic lines in dealing with the protesters who are against Bashar's regime.
The protesters held the Egyptian and Syrian flags and signs that said, "The resistant state kills the innocent children of Syria", "Killing children is not an act of resistance Bashar", "One Arab nation against the rulers who kill us."
The protesters also chanted slogans such as, "Egyptian Syrian united", "Long live Syria and down Bashar."
The Syrian broadcaster who dissented from the Syrian TV Farhan Matar asked the Egyptian leaderships to take courageous steps to aid the Syrian people, he also said that Egypt is not less than Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Turkey.
If Egypt dismissed the Syrian ambassador many Arabian and European countries will do the same thing, said Matar.
He also asked the Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf and the field marshal and the chairman of the ruling military council Tantawi to withdraw the Egyptian ambassador in Damascus in response for the crimes committed against the Syrian people.
He asked the secretary-general of the Arab league Nabil el- Arabi to freeze the current Syrian membership in the Arab league as the procedure that was taken against Libya.
It should be noted that a lot of the Syrian community individuals asked to dismiss the Syrian ambassador in Cairo as it believed that he chase the Syrian people who live in Egypt and threatens the Syrian students in Egypt of cutting their scholarships if they didn't participate in the marches supporting the Syrian president Bashar al- Assad.
