CAIRO: Former Egyptian Prime Minister, Ahmed Shafiq, said he did not decide whether to run for upcoming presidential elections or not. Shafiq said if he is fit to be Egypt's next president, he will run for presidential elections to serve Egypt, he said during a phone call on the talk show, ‘Al-Hayah Al-Youm.” Shafiq announced certain measures will be taken if he becomes the next Egyptian president, such as development in all fields. He added he will use his experience to tackle weak points in the Egyptian society. Shafiq also expressed his wishes for Egypt's improving situation by the current Prime Minister Essam Sharaf and his government.
