Around 260 people suffered from sunstroke or heat-induced blackouts in Tahrir Square during the ‘Friday of Unity' protests today, according to Egypt's Ministry of Health. Of those, 175 were treated in mobile clinics in the square and 40 others in ambulances. Dr. Adel el-Adawy, assistant secretary to the minister of health, said 33 patients were transferred to Mounira hospital, 16 to Helal hospital and one to Qasr el-Ainy University Hospital.
