CAIRO: Around 42 members of the Egyptian Kefaya Movement condemned the “non-stop accusations” launched by Hassan Ruwaini, member of the ruling military council, against Kefaya and the April 6 Youth Movement, according to a statement issued today. Ruwaini repeatedly accused the Movements of executing a foreign agenda, the statement read. Kefaya founders condemned Ruwaini's statements, and asked him to produce evidence supporting his statements or apologize. Ruwaini's accusations give counter-revolutionaries the potential to ruin the January 25 Revolution at a time when the ruling military council should be neutral, the statement added. George Isaac of the Kefaya Movement, political activist Essam Islamboli and Abdel Glil Mustafa, general coordinator of the National Association for Change, all signed the statement issued today.
