CAIRO: Amid the unfortunate events in Egypt, a number of ministers participated in the celebration of the Freedom and Justice Party foundation. Egypt's Deputy Prime Minister, Dr. Ali al-Salmi, the Interior Minister, Mansour el-Issawi, and the Minister of Culture, Emad abu Ghazy all attended the participation. Egypt's Minister of Interior, Mansour al-Issawi, described the foundation of the party as the first political entity for the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) recognized by the Egyptian government. It is an important step to build Egypt's future. He added he attended the celebration to prove his ministry's positive feedback from the party. A number of political and governmental figures held a meeting with the leaders of the party and the MB. The head of the Freedom and Justice Party, Dr. Mohamed Morsi, said the MB's main objective is to give power to Egyptian citizens and not to take authority. In this regard, the party decided to be independent from the MB in its situation and financial affairs, although both have the same references, objectives and ideas. Morsi added the party recognized the legitimacy of Egypt's Armed Forces and assured Egyptians granted the military institution the legitimacy to rule the country through the current transitional stage.
