SUEZ, Egypt: Three containers contaminated by nuclear radiation released in the nuclear reactor disaster in Japan were seized in Ain Sokhna port, said General Mohamed Abdel Kader, Chairman of the Red Sea Port Authorities. In a statement to Youm7, Mohamed said customs authorities in Ain Sokhna port impounded three contaminated containers after one container raised suspicions. The containers contained building materials and tools, Mohamed said. Mohamed added that previous containers from Japan were seized and sent back last month.
