CAIRO: Egypt's Center for Economic and Social Rights will hold a seminar on Tuesday to discuss decree Number 34 of 2011 regarding the ban of demonstrations and its impact on certain rights and freedoms. The center said that Egypt witnesses a state of legal controversy with regards to the recent referendum to amend the constitution, the constitutional announcement, trialing civilians in military trials, prosecuting journalists, banning demonstrations and the public prosecution of the figures of the former regime. The discussion will extend contradiction between the decree and international agreements in addition to the legal ideas that will deal with the decree.
