LUXOR, Egypt: Luxor's Governor, General Khaled Foda, participated in a campaign organized by foreigners living in Luxor, to clean and beautify Luxor's streets. Foda expressed his happiness when residents of Luxor and NGOs participated in the campaign, aiming to keep the city clean and safe. Foda said he took a tour in the streets with cleaning tools, assuring the youth and students of Luxor adopted a campaign to increase public awareness among the residents of the city about the importance of keeping the streets clean. The step was taken in the framework of a number of social activities, adopted by the governorate, such as holding a mass wedding ceremony during Eid al-Fitr.
