CAIRO: Youm7 has exclusive access and will publish a document of investigations of the killing of demonstrators, which will falsify what was said by Minister of Interior Mansour el-Issawi to different media regarding the presence of snipers in state security or a special force to combat terrorism. There are claims the snipers were hired to kill the demonstrators during the January 25 Revolution by shooting them from atop the Ministry of Interior and the American University. The document of the trial case no. 1227 of 2011 appeared in Qasr el-Nil police station, accusing former Minister of Interior, Habib al-Adly, and four of his aides using services of snipers against demonstrators. There claims are based on statements from a colonel in the central security services, whose name Youm7 will not reveal. When asked where this anti-terrorism force receives its instructions, the Colonel central security sector said they act upon decisions of the Minister of Interior personally. The Colonel stressed this force was armed with live ammunition. There is another document containing the testimony of a colonel from the telecom sector operations in Central Security relating to the murder of the demonstrators. The colonel said he heard an order, from the Assistant Minister of Interior Security Forces Central to the Director General of security in central Cairo, to provide troops stationed in Tahrir Square with automatic guns, shotguns, ammunition and move them to the Ministry of Interior headquarters to protect it. Ambulances and live bullets were used on anyone who attacked the Ministry of the Interior building. These statements denied what is confirmed by the current Minister of Interior el-Issawi over and over again. Issawi stressed in more than one press statement that there were no snipers at the Ministry of Interior, to the extent that he asked anyone with information regarding these claims should come forward so the ministry can take legal action against them.
