Egypt's Ministry of Interior has squad of snipers

CAIRO: Institutes for training officers of Egyptian Central Forces confirm training squads of snipers and shooting forces, according to a security source from Egypt's Ministry of Interior.
The source added the institutes aim to lift the efficiency of battling in all fields to train different squads on how to use all modern weapons and be prepared for any operations they are authorized with.
However the source said there is no special department for training snipers exclusively and denied those squads participated in Egyptian January 25 Revolution or could have shoot the demonstrators.
Activists and Facebook users confirmed the Ministry of Interior has snipers by publishing a photo from the Ministry's official website, revealing the institute has a sniper squad.
The Ministry of Interior denied in previous statements of snipers on top of buildings surrounding Tahrir Square during the January 25 Revolution.
