Cairo: Egypt's Ministry of Solidarity and Social Justice allocated several pilgrimage visas to the families of the martyrs of the January 25 Revolution without them having to obtain permission through NGOs. It also gave them 28 free pilgrimage visas that go in accordance with certain rules in the pilgrimage form. There was a meeting held between the executive director of the National Association of Pilgrimage and Umrah Facilitation and the manager of the departments of the Ministry in order to set organized rules for what has already been set by NGOs. During the meeting the central administrator of Social Protection in the Ministry, Amina Pasha, said that visas for the pilgrimage will be given to all families of the martyrs without them having to obtain permission. After that, said Pasha, 28 people from these families will be chosen to be given free visas after their applications have been studied by the Ministry. Priority will be given to the families who have little income, have not gone on the pilgrimage before and families having more than one martyr. Amina said that regarding families with a martyred husband, a visa will be given to the wife, father or the mother, according to each family's case. Youm7 found out that free pilgrimage visas will be given to all of the families of the martyrs with the exception of the families of police martyrs, martyred prisoners and the martyrs of the armed forces.
