Egyptians call to form a constituent authority to reform the constitution before either the presidential or parliamentary elections, results of a poll revealed. The poll was carried out by four organizations; New World for Development and Human Rights; Reform and Citizenship Monitor; Limitless Monitors Network; and Human Rights Defenders Network. Most of Egyptians said political and civil forces aren't ready for elections. The Muslim Brotherhood (MB), old political parties and political professional businessmen will be most benefited of the coming elections. Meanwhile, new political forces, parties under formation and social movements are unready for elections so they might be the biggest losers. The parliament will form as a result of these elections and might not express the revolution orientation. Egyptians want to form a new constitution for Egypt in order to reform the constitutional foundation, to re-organize the relationship between the ruler and the people according to new social contract and to change the current political system into new parliamentary rule before the elections. The residents of six different governorates voted for this poll. The poll represents organizations of the Youth Revolution, new and old political parties, university professors, intellectuals, head of trade and professional union, civil society, employees, workers and farmers of different ages. The poll indicates more that 83.5 percent approved to make new constitution before the parliamentary elections while 41.1 percent refused.
