CAIRO, Egypt: According to the Real State Publicity department in South Sinai, the former Egyptian First Lady Suzanne Mubarak gave up her fortunes. Mubarak's wife signed through her lawyer a general power of attorney that gave up her fortunes, witnessed an official from the Real State Publicity department. She gave up her bank accounts in Alexandria as well as her two villas in the Heliopolis district of Cairo. The former First Lady was sentenced to 15 days of imprisonment until investigation into cases of corruption. Because of this she was compelled to let go of her fortunes.
