Sunshine Stars are ready for war against Ahli in the Champions League as they are unfazed by their opposition's mind-games, according to club chief Mike Idoko. Two days before the semi-final clash, Ahli declared that a number of key players will be out of the Nigeria trip, including the likes of Emad Meteb, Oussou Konan and Sayed Moawad. However, Sunshine believe that their high-profile opponents are at full strength, suggesting that the latest injury news is no more than off-the-pitch antics. “We are not new to the antics of the Egyptians," the executive director of Ondo State Football Agency, Mike Idoko told The Guardian. “We know what the Egyptians are up to. They are selling dummy for us to relax but we are battle ready for war. “We have our agents monitoring them and from what they are feeding us, all their regular players are training with them and are part of the team coming to Ijebu Ode." In addition to their long injury list, Ahli are certain to be without star midfielder Mohamed Abou-Treika due to a club ban while teenager Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet' is away with the Egypt youth team.
