Ahli striker Emad Meteb is now ready to take part in Sunday's Champions League encounter against Zamalek after overcoming a hamstring problem, the club said. Meteb, whose last competitive game was with the national Olympic team against Japan early in August, is now set to make his comeback after resuming full training. “Emad Meteb is now fit for the derby clash with Zamalek after appearing in good shape during training," football director Sayed Abdul-Hafiz told the club's official website. The 29-year-old had pulled out of Ahli's Super Cup 2-1 victory over ENPPI last Sunday due to his niggling injury, only two days after being declared fit for the season's curtain-raiser. Meanwhile, Brazilian forward Fabio Junior and center-half Mohamed Naguib have recuperated from respective injuries that saw them sit out the Super Cup game. The six-time African champions eye a win against the Whites to secure top-spot qualification for the semis as they lie second of Group B level on points with DR Congo's Mazembe but the latter has a better head to head record.
