Montella to coach Hegazi at Viola

Former Italy striker Vincenzo Montella has been named new Fiorentina coach, the Serie A club have announced.
Fiorentina, who have just signed Egypt defender Ahmed Hegazi, appointed Montella as Vincenzo Guerini has been leading the team temporarily following Dellio Rossi's sacking last term.
Montella, 37, helped Catania finish 11th in the Serie A last season and was tipped to return to his old club Roma before Viola had snapped him up.
He penned a two-year deal with the Tuscan club that expires in the summer of 2014.
