Carthage Eagles Tunisia came back from Cape Verde with a vital 2-1 win, courtesy of two goals by Saber Khelifa and Issam Jemaa. In Group D, CAN 2012 Player of the Tournament Christopher Katongo scored the winner as Zambia, who lost their opening game in Sudan, edged Ghana 1-0. Nigeria and Senegal were held to frustrating 1-1 stalemates in Malawi and Uganda respectively, while South Africa continued their stuttering form with a draw in Botswana. Ivory Coast will host Morocco in a crunch Group C game later on Saturday as 10 matches take place on Sunday.
