Emad Meteb has ruled himself out of the World Cup qualifier in Guinea due to an ear infection, FilGoal.com has learnt. The Ahli striker didn't show up at the team's training on Monday, claiming he was seeing a specialist after feeling pain in his ear and that he will not be able to play before next week. Meteb is believed to have been frustrated after Egypt coach Bob Bradley opted to keep him on the bench for the whole match against Mozambique last weekend. Bradley's decision came despite Meteb warming up right after half time during the 2-0 qualifying win. It remains to be seen whether the Egypt management will call a replacement for the 29-year-old as Egypt visit Guinea in their second World Cup qualifier on June 10.
