Zamalek duo Islam Awad and Salah Soliman have been named in the team's squad for the Champions League tie against Africa Sport after recovering from respective injuries. Midfielder Awad, who joined the Whites in the winter break, was unlikely to feature in Sunday's round of 32 fixture after sustaining a knee injury a week ago, while center-half Soliman had been sidelined for nearly a month with a similar problem. “The duo have taken part in full training, thus they were included in the squad,” Zamalek assistant manager Ismail Youssef told FilGoal.com. “It is a good surprise to have them both fit for the game amid the string of injuries that hit the team of late. Their participation in Sunday's fixture is up to the management though.” Meanwhile, full-back Ahmed Samir has been ruled out of the continental match with a groin complaint, a setback that would see him face a two week lay-off. Zamalek are already without striker Mido who have been omitted after suffering a back problem during training two days ago, but Amr Zaki should be back to boost the frontline.
