Masri chairman Kamel Abou-Ali, head coach Hossam Hassan and his staff have all announced their resignation following the deadly events that marred Wednesday's game with Ahli. The Port-Said club's website announced the news as it issued an official apology to Ahli fans, following the 73 deaths reported after the game. “As soon as the match ended, the blood of Ahli fans from the stands right below the website's office at the stadium was all over the place,” a statement from the Masri site read. “There was blood on the seats, computers and walls. The Masri website team became medics to help the injured. “We were crying as it was a very sad scene that we will never forget. “We apologize for not being able to resume our normal work for technical and human reasons.” It is also rumored that the ruling Supreme Council of Armed Forces is set to sack Port-Said governor Ahmed Abdullah and head of security Essam Samak.
