Equatorial Guinea registered their first-ever Africa Cup of Nations victory by edging Libya 1-0 in a dramatic opener to the competition.
In an ecstatic atmosphere at Estadio de Bata, the co-hosts snatched the winner two minutes from time thanks to a strike from Javier Balboa.
The Portugal-based forward clinically curled home past veteran keeper Samir Aboud after beating the Libya offside trap.
In the other Group A game, Senegal will face Zambia later on Saturday.
