Mido out of Contactors game, Omotoyossi in
Published in FilGoal on 13 - 12 - 2011

Mido has been confirmed out of Zamalek's upcoming league match against Arab Contractors on Wednesday, while Razak Omotoyossi made the squad for the away game.
Mido is struggling with a groin injury he sustained in training, even though he has been pushing for a start in the absence of Amr Zaki.
“Mido would not be fit for the Contactors match due to a problem in his right groin muscle,” Zamalek doctor Ayman Farid told FilGoal.com on Tuesday.
“He has been training through injury in the past two days hoping to be ready for the game but wasn't able to complete Tuesday's training session.”
Mido, who has yet to start a match for Zamalek since joining last January, reiterated during the past few days that he is 100% fit to take part in competitive games.
The former Ajax hitman has been struggling with weight problems over the past few years, a setback which dramatically affected his fitness level during his last months in Europe.
After missing the cup campaign due to lack of fitness, the 28-year-old returned for Zamalek's league opener against Ghazl Mahalla, coming off the bench to score a penalty in the 6-1 drubbing.

Meanwhile, Zamalek said that Benin striker Omotoyossi has been declared fit for the game after recovering from a knee injury.
The Whites' 18-man list witnessed the inclusion of ex-Masri defender Hani Saied for the first time this season, following a two-month layoff.
Fringe duo Hossam Arafat and Saied Mohamed ‘Otta' also made the list for the first time.
