Zamalek striker Mido is back in the team's fold for the away league game against Smouha after recovering from a calf injury. The 28-year-old, who featured for the Whites in their first game versus Ghazl Mahalla, has been named in the 20 man-list for Thursday's league clash after missing the previous two games with Gaish and Military Production. Meanwhile, midfielder Ahmed Al-Merghani and frontman Hussein Hamdi have also returned to the team's roster after overcoming respective injuries, while attacking midfielders Alaa Ali and new-signing Saied Mohamed continue to miss out. Benin international Razak Omotoyossi has been confirmed out of the trip to Alexandria as he had not been training with the team for the whole week. The robust marksman had travelled home to see his ill wife following the 3-1 win against Military Production but flight problems delayed his arrival to Cairo prompting the management to omit him from the squad.
