Morocco's Maghreb Fes have clinched the African Confederation Cup for the first time in their history by beating Club Africain of Tunisia on penalties. The Moroccans won the second leg 1-0, courtesy of a goal from Moussa Tigana, to make it 1-1 aggregate before winning 6-5 on penalties. MAS goalkeeper Anas Zniti was the hero of the night in Fes after saving two spot kicks and scoring the winning penalty himself. It is the second year in a row that saw a Moroccan side beat a team from Tunisia as last year FUS Rabat won the title at the expense of Sfaxien.
